Fall in LOVE with handmade urban craft fair joins forces with Heart of the Winter Celebration!

I am sooo sooo so excited about this! I will post more soon but here is most of the info. that you would
need to be a vendor.....
Fall in Love with Handmade Urban Craft fair was invited to join forces with Caramel Crisp & Cafe to be a part of their Heart of the winter celebration (which is also a huge fund raiser for a local shelter). If you know Chanda the owner of Caramel Crisp/ organizer of this event ,she is passionate about our community here in Oshkosh & makes things happen. This event has been going on now for a few years. It will be held at the Oshkosh Convention Center right down town on the river all the way to the Leach Amphitheater & events will take place from a craft show (which is where we come in) to ice sculptors, a possible ice skating rink, food, dog sleds, a mini marathon (the snowflake shuffle) & sooo much more! I am super excited to be asked to be a part of this, all of this is to raise money for the local Day by Day warming shelter.
I have been given about 7000 sq ft space to run our craft show, so Fall in Love with Handmade will take place at the Convention Center from 9-2, Saturday February 13th (this is in the center of all of the activities & where most people have to go
to sign up for the different events throughout the day. We can host 39 vendors with 8x8 booth spaces, tables provided as well as table cloths & some booths can have electricity (no extra cost) but please specify if you need it. The cost is $50 for a booth & the best part I will be donating half of our collected booth fees to the Day by Day warming shelter! This is already getting a lot of attention & we will be ordering over 200 posters, flyers & is a huge networking system of amazing people in Oshkosh that make great things happen! ðŸ˜Š
If you are interested please email me at handmadefortheholidays@hotmail.com with your business name & a $25 down payment to hold your booth space (the other $25 will be due by Feb. 1st, 2016.) This is still a juried show & we may be full in certain categories, vendors will be accepted first come, first serve.
You can send payment via paypal to daintydasies01@hotmail.com  (please be sure to spell my email address the way it is shown here, you can also email me for a mailing address to mail a check.)
 Happy New Year!!! smile emoticon
If I missed any info. please feel free to email me.

Life lately...

.....has consisted of
lots of making, craft shows &
our families.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with
both of our families &
now the hustle & bustle of the
end of the holiday season!
I swear it goes soooo fast each year!

I have been having a lot
of fun making these sweet little yarn
wreaths & I am so thankful
that many of them found
new homes this season.

I tend to work on them late at
night watching TV with a fire &
my hubby by my side.

I recently got new glasses! I
can't say enough about Zenni Optical.
I love their glasses & you
can't beat their prices.

We had all of our kids this past weekend
& headed out to cut down our tree..

well to save you from a really long but
funny story we stopped by
Lowe's & picked this fresh tree.

It's really beautiful but
not exactly what we had planned
thanks to a bad website with a link address
to a parking lot
& no time!

I have two more shows this
season but I am looking forward to
enjoying the season & trying to slow it
down!

xoxo!

for the Oshkosh area
community!
Thank you Oshkosh

( Santa photo of me & my hubby!)

My booth at the Crafty Fair in Madison

made for HFTH. I
sold most of them but a few will
head to Madison with me

Holiday Craftacular!

I ♥ Fall!

I  love Fall!
I love the coziness of
this time of year & I think
that is when I fall in
love with warm coffee drinks all over again.

I used to be pretty set in my ways with coffee
but I have been trying new things.
I work from home so many
days I don't even leave my house..
let alone get to the coffee shop.
I must say I do love
our local coffee shops here in
Oshkosh so it is a treat for me! :)

I came up with a new morning coffee
that tastes better then the average
caramel cafe latte.
I bring 1 1/2 cups of milk (I use skim)'
to a boil & add 3 heaping
tablespoons of Maxwell House international
vanilla caramel latte mix!
So yummy! You could even
add whip cream if you want!
It's my new Fall favorite treat!

I also recently (as in yesterday)
finally got my hair cut! I went
pretty short again &
I LOVE IT!

I had to show off my new knit cowl
that I traded my friend Vanessa
of Baily Belle for &
my recently thrifted Fall
jumper (I beleive it was $1.99)

Happy Fall!!!

I added a new show to my list so
NEXT UP... The Artery holiday show
in Downtown Appleton Nov. 7th!
(I will post more info. soon)

xoxo!

Fall finds!

I am kind of loving Fall
right now with chilly
mornings & warm afternoons!
October may be one of my
very favorite months.

Speaking of Fall, I needed some
new seasonal clothing items.
I have decided to try & thrift
95% of my wardrobe.
There are just some things
you shouldn't thrift.. you know! ;)

This shouldn't be hard since I do this
anyway but after
buying a new & kind of expensive dress,
wearing it once & having it rip that
was it!
I have been so happy with my
finds! Today I found
this sweater for $2.39, shoes (never worn) $2
& the vintage knit hat for $3.
I also bought a few dresses
& spent under $30 total.
That new dress that I was
talking about.. was $40 for
one dress!

I also recently bought
new glasses as my prescription
changed while ago.
I found these cute frames
at Zenni optical online.
I bought both pairs
for under $25. with
shipping!

Happy Fall friends! xo!

Scenes from our new home!

We are currently moving into
our new home! I say moving because
we have been living between our
apartment & new house this month!

We bought some new curtains &
got at least the new living room set up
so it feels like a home!

It's been a bit stressful living between two
homes but I have found what helps is
keeping one of the two organized! I guess
as organized as you can be during a move.

Our new house has a lot more storage &
a full basement!

We have plenty of room for storage which
we lacked in our apartment.

We apparently LOVE foxes! :)
I love this picture of  our collection
of prints from our bedroom.

The new kitchen is looking as kitschy
as ever with my collection of vintage
salt & pepper shakers!

I am kind of in love with the retro
goodness that is our kitchen
not too mention that window over
looks our backyard!

Did I mention that we have a
BACKYARD!!! I am
so excited to have our own
yard!!

Beautiful pears from our PEAR TREE!
We have a pear tree in our backyard!
We know nothing about it but
figure we will learn!
We have picked over 40 pears,
our landlord picked some &
some friends of ours stopped by
& grabbed a bunch! That is
alot of pears!

Our friends also brought us a
sweet house warming gift.

A cute little plant &
some Cupcake brand
Moscato wine! :)

This week has been busy! I registered this guy,
my handsome son for 7th grade! Where
did the time go? We went for lunch after, it was nice
to get some one on one time with him!

I will be busy, busy the next few weeks but
I promise to pop back in as I can!

I will also be at the downtown
Appleton farmers market this Saturday
from 8-12:30 selling my wares!
I have new fall scarves &
a huge sale bin of goodies
for under $5. Stop by!

xo!

New house!

We found a house &
we are in LOVE!
It's a 50's style ranch that has been updated
but they left some of the original
character like the pink & black subway tile
in the bathroom & the vanity.

The kitchen is pink too! I am so in love
with the retro style, pink counter &
back splash not too mention
the frosted glass cupboard doors!

Things have been a bit crazy around here!
I have been busy, busy with
the farmers market & keeping up
with all of the shops that I sell at,
not too mention add
preparing to move!
The summer is going too fast!
Slow down summer! :)
