5 days & counting....

I am in full wedding mode! I am getting married in 5 days!
EEEEEEEK! :)

I just finished up my fabric flower boquet.
I made this boquet using sticks that my fiancés boys & I
found on a walk one day as well as
scrap fabric that I had in my sewing room.

I found the DIY on pinterest but
changed it up a bit! I love how it turned out!
I am allergic to a lot of real flowers so
this boquet is cute, allergy friendly &
I will be able to keep it forever!

We have been saving spaghetti sauce tins for about
6 months now to use as vases for
the reception hall.
I will have real flowers in these. I simply hot glued
some of my scrap fabric to the tins & we ordered about
20 mixed boquets from Trader Joes.

I can't wait to see it all come together!

5 days & counting!!!!! :)

The wedding countdown has begun...

Our wedding is now less then two weeks away!
I have been working on some
last minute handmade
details.. like this
Mr. & Mrs. sign.

I found the template online
traced it, glittered it &
just need to add the ribbon for
our table or chairs! :)

This is both of our second marriages
so we are not asking for gifts,
 lets just just say
after combining two households we
had, HAD a lot of stuff. We are finally
comftorable with what we have
gotten rid of & what we have kept!

With that being said we decided to
make a simple card box
out of a vintage picnic basket to
add to our "picnic" theme, so guests
can drop a card in there if they wish.

The top was a bit rough so I
painted it with chalkboard paint.
(I will show some after pictures soon)

I decided to make some
simple pennant banners for
the chapel & the reception hall.
We have to set up &
tear down the same day so I want to keep
the decorations simple.

  Everything is almost ready.
We just have a few more little details to
finish! I can't wait to marry
my best friend! He really
is! I can't begin to tell you
how lucky I am!!

(below is my Mr's ring box!)

& last but not least! I am in full market
vending season!
Last Saturday was my busiest
day this summer!
Thank you to all of you for your support
& for allowing me to do what I love everyday!
I promise to be back to
posts about dainty daisies soon! :)

Have a great day! xoxo!

White bunting for our wedding!

Here is a view of the chapel
where we will be married next month!  ♥

I am hoping to make a whole
bunch of white bunting to hang from the ceiling
beams & then we will take them over
to the reception hall.
our photographer (& one of my very best friends)
is bringing her white ruffled backdrop as well.
I want everything to look very natural.

I also want to make fabric covered tea lights
& the wood signs!

 The wedding is just
over a month away now, it
seems like we have so much to do..
I am getting so excited!!!!

Whirlwind!

The past month or so has been a whirlwind!
We have 3 boys with birthdays from April to
May.. not to mention my birthday is
Mid May. It was
a busy month!

Now that June is here.. I will be busy
with summer vending.

Here is my set up at the Maker Market
in Bay View Sunday!
It was a fantastic day & the crazy rain
held off until after the show.

My daughter just had her 9th dance recital.
She will be in high school
next year & to say I am proud is a
understatement! She did such
a great job! It is so fun to watch her
grow, she started dancing when
she was 6!
Congratulations Jada Rayne!

Max started baseball so we spent our
memorial day watching Jada march in the
band in Oshkosh, hung out with great friends then
off to Max's baseball game!
It was a great day!

&.... the wedding! Eeeeek! It is
less then 2 months away now!
I am getting so excited!!! We just purchased our
wedding bands, some decoration items
which will be simple as it is
a family picnic theme &
Jada's dress! I also made the bow tie
shown below. Max will be wearing that
to match his sister. :)
I can't wait!

I will also be at the downtown
Appleton farm market June 21 is the kick off
to the season! I should be on Onieda st. off college
in my usual spot!

90s dresses with a new look...

I found all of these adorable dated 90s dresses
at thrift shops, removed the shoulder pads,
cut off a few inches, hemmed them
& tada totally cute
90s baby doll mini dresses!

I love the peter pan collar dress shown above
& not too mention the cute jumper
below!
