Color week: Pink

I looove pink ... can ya tell?? My sign, my signature ribbon. Some cute light pink suitcases I use to hide stuff in & my favorite owl bank I got for christmas last year! It is -40 degrees here with the windchill and we are cooped up in the house. School is cancelled. The kids are playing and I plan on getting some sewing done. Stay Warm! I am soooo ready for spring! ;)

Color week... YELLOW

I have a few yellow things... I recently fell in love with that color this summer! A yellow angel *handmade* by my daughter and for sure one of my favorite christmas gifts. The vintage yellow flower pot that holds my clothing labels as well as some of my favorite crafty books!Which by the way were actually already organized in a nice yellow fashion! :)

I am off to a late start blogging today.. but I have been busy, busy. Cleaning our family room.. getting rid of a few things & picking up my sewing machines! Yay! They are done & I will be getting some new things ready to post by early next week I promise! Have a great Wednesday!

Purple.....

I love Purple... Which is funny I found quite a few things but these are my favorite. My vintage mannequin that I spray painted & my sewing scissors ... always purple so I know which ones cut fabric! :)

Color week.... Blue

I am participating in color week ....check it out here curiousbird . We are home safe and sound from our long trip to Eau Claire. The funeral and everything was such a great tribute to Jakes' Grandpa. I took some family pics and will share those next week. I am waiting for my sewing machines to get repaired and back to sewing bus. it will be. Until then join me this week for color week.

♥ Valentine hair clips! ♥

Valentine hair clips are showing up in the shop. I have more I will be posting so keep checkin' back. My sewing machine broke yesterday as I was finishing up a few things.... so needless to say there will not be any new skirts or totes until next week. Sorry! I do have quite a few things I am mailing off today to Madison, new purses & accessories for Anthology. :)

On a sad note Jake's Grandpa passed away yesterday. We are really sad & will miss him terribly. He was a very neat and caring man, especially to our kids.. They love Grandpa Ray! We will be heading out of town at the end of the week for his funeral. I will probalbly be a bit quiet here until next week.

A clean slate....

Look at what I have been working on... CLEANING my sewing room of course! I also received a nice email this morning from a kind etsy seller telling me one of my lovely new purses was in her treasury... so cute! Check it out here!

Happy New Year!

I am sooo excited for this new year! I feel like I am off to a fresh start. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. We did and I am enjoying every bit of just hanging out with my kids and my husband before they are all back to school & work on Monday! We have been quite busy.. sledding, iceskating & hanging with family in Eau Claire!

I really have one new years goal this year and that is to slow down and enjoy what I have, meaning my family, business all of it.. just life in general! oh and to stay organized (meaning my sewing room)!LoL! 2008 was such a crazy year for me.

I am ready for 2009!I have totally reorganized my sewing room & I just ordered some amazing new fabrics so that I can get some of the ideas out of my head.hehe! I also will be changing my shipping in my etsy shop to international shipping as well.

I hope you all are getting off to a good start in 2009.. I will have lots of new things to post soon!
