Wedding planning...

 

Wedding planning is in full swing around here

& because my busy season is June

until the holidays I am taking

advantage of my down time.

 

It was a beautiful day for a drive yesterday

so  we stopped by the park that we will be getting married at!

It was even more exciting this time since we have

started planning!

 

I can't wait to see it in July when everything is green

& living again! ;)

 

 

 

I ordered our straws! I know so important! Ha!

We are keeping our decorations to a

minimal so little things like polk a

dot straws will

help pull our

potluck/picnic theme all together!

 

Our invites are done & almost ready to mail!

Bill's sister designed them for us. I just

gave her the ideas we had!

I am in LOVE with them, they are so us!

 

We just had them printed & will be

mailed out soon!

 



 

I just started making my bouquet.

I am making it out of felt since I am

allergic to most real flowers!

about it & how I made it!)

Woohoo It's Friday!

It's been kind of a crazy week..

things are still a little slow for me until

my vending season starts!

 I have been using the slow time to

add new goodies to my etsy shop!

 

I love the dress below that I reworked.

I will be adding more to

 my shop soon!

 

 

 

2 are in the shop,

I have 2 more to add soon.

I can't help but to keep every other one

that I find! :)

I also listed a few really cute light weight

jersey knit lace scarves! They

would look pretty cute with the

dress shown above!

 

I have had a lot of requests to

add mini hair bows to my shop. I

will be listing them in lots of 4.

I also will be working on cotton

infinity scarves for my shop &

shows! The musical note scarf shown

below was a custom order! I love how it turned out.

 

I had enough fabric to make two so

1 is still available in my etsy shop!

 



 

My little sister is coming to visit

this weekend! I am so looking forward to spending some

time with her!

New Spring Rosie headbands in my shop!

I have been working like mad to

keep new inventory

in my etsy shop..

 

I will be listing my new Rosie headbands

in collections.. you can choose to buy one

or all four.

 

This collection of Rosies are made

from all vintage fabrics. They are so soft & pretty for spring.

I did use a filter so they are

a little more vibrant in person.

 

I am working on making my pics better
but it is a super grey day so the

lighting is terrible!

I just want make cute

I gave this dated dress a adorable/simple makeover.

I thrifted the dress for about $1.99 &

took it home, washed it & cut about

12 inches off the length!

I hemmed it & it's ready to wear!!

I love it!

Thrift store dress makeover!

 

 

 I have been drooling over

all of the 90's inspired baby doll dresses

that are showing up online. I purchased

one for over $50 and was so disappointed when

it started falling apart after a few wears!

 

I decided to save some dresses from

the thrift store & make my own!

 

I scored big time! I have 3 dresses to

redo.. & spent $6.

The dress shown below was $1.99

& I believe originally handmade..

even better! :)

 

 

BEFORE..

 

I used a dress I already had to measure

the length. I wear this dress alot

so I knew the length would be perfect.

Be sure to leave about 2 inches for a hem.

 



 

Cut it at desired length.  

 

 

Finish with a hem..

 

annnnnd.. wear! :)

I love the way the dress turned out!

I think this will be a new thing for me

although I have altered soooo

many dresses in the past!

as I finish them! I am so excited!

I have been wanting a tattoo

for awhile now.

 

Bill & I have talked

about getting similar fox tattoo's..

something that has meaning

in our relationship(not because they are popular).

 

 

I also really love arrows & the

simplicity of this one.

 

I am a big M&S fan so
