New skirt designer...

I am so excited to offer new skirts at the shop handmade with the cutest vintage fabrics. I just got in the first batch by The painted daisy of Madison.. stop in and check them out! They are sooo fun!

Spring fling Craftacular!

I will be in Madison tomorrow at the High Noon Saloon selling my wares during the Spring Fling Craftacular! Come see me & many of my crafty friends. There is sooo much talent at this show. I hear there is a chance of rain.. an even better day for craft show shopping!

The shop will be closed tomorrow & regular hours will resume on Tuesday! We are open today 10-4! I have sooo many skirts & goodies to take to Madison come & see!

Spring Fling Craftacular!

Save the date... dainty daisies is a proud sponsor & vendor at this wonderful show in Madison! (It does mean the shop will be closed Saturday because I will be vending at the Craftacular!) I am off to sew my week away.. it may be a quiet week on here! I have sooo much work to do.. which is good because it means business has been GREAT! ;)

I have always ALWAYS been a Alice in Wonderland fan! I just realized how much the recent release of the movie by Tim Burton has inspired me.

I was at the fabric store awhile ago & came across this sweet trim! I decided to make a few cute & simple headbands out of it! I love it.. They are now available at the shop.

Did you know.....

That my friend Liz makes the most amazing candles for my shop! I just love them! I have been collecting vintage tea cups, (and we found that you guys REALLY like the saucers too) and Liz turns them into the yummiest smelling soy candles. They burn clean & smell great too.. we are even working on a small discount if you bring your pretty cups back to get refilled.. How about that???



New scents at the shop.. Honey do melon, lavendar cucumber melon & sweet pea! They go quick.. come in & see! Shop hours are 10-4 today!

R.I.P Buck

We are putting our dog down today... and I have sooo many mix emotions! I will miss him sooooo much! He was the BEST dog ever! We took him in when he was 9 & he has been such a BIG part of our family! I wish he didn't have to get old. He has been in sooo much pain with his legs & he has a hard time breathing!



I know it is for the best!
I love you so much Buck! I will miss you!!!

Easter!

We spent the afternoon with my family! It was a nice relaxing day... I love where I grew up.. and it was good to go back home for a bit! annnd Yes.. Jada & Max are totally into looking like Skaters! ;)

Ahhhhh Spring!

First off..... Thank you! Thank you to everyone who came out Saturday for gallery walk! It was sooo busy and sooo much fun! xoxo!



I started off my Monday with a trip to the dentist.. while I like my dentist I am kind of tired of visiting him every other Monday! Lol! I should be good for awhile now.. I told him I don't think he will be happy til' he fixes every tooth in my mouth! ;)

I stopped with a REALLY numb mouth at the thrift store right after my appointment & look wHAT I found! Some REALLY beautiful vintage aprons (that will be heading to the shop for sale) and a great vintage blanket. I recently started collecting these. This one even has a tag with someones signature! It makes me sooo happy!

I hope your Monday is off to a great start! I have LOTS of sewing to do!
