4 Anthology....

These are a few of my new embroidery ring art (for a lack of a better name)They are off to Anthology 218 state st. Madison. I also have a few available here and at my shop.

My sister n law is on her way here from Arizona to stay with us for the funeral. I am cleaning the house & hopefully will get some sewing done... the market is only about 8 weeks away, but who's counting ???? Lol!

A rough week....

I am changing my etsy shop a little and adding more skirts,purses and my new embroidery ring art. I am really liking the way it looks. It has been a cold,rainy somewhat drepressing weekend. :(
We received some really sad news Friday night, Jake's grandpa has passed away. He has lost both his Grandfather's with in 6 months & a grandmother just last year. The hardest thing is his Grandfather's were really special people (more like father figures to him!)
It has been a rough week!
We will be gone for the funeral and I am not sure what our week ahead is going to look like. I am taking it one day at a time!
I will leave you with a little something I have been working on.. now in my etsy shop!

A little update....

Just a little update for you. I am currently working on reworking my etsy shop. I will be adding the hair accessories back.. but I have new ideas for listing them. I just added a few new bags ( That I love!) and a wrap skirt as well as some of my new needlepoint ring art(for a lack of better word). Check it out @ www.daintydaisies.etsy.com.

I have a few more skirts to post in my etsy shop.. then I will be working on the next batch.I also have went back to my roots and made up the sweetest sundress. I used to only make patchwork dresses & sell them, so this is a more modern updated, not so hippie version of a apron dress. It is a ADORABLE! I have a feeling I will be wearing these all summer. :)

Retro ready for spring.....

purse is in the shop! This purse is sooo cute. I don't think the pics do it any justice! I have a ton of sewing to do today. It is a crummy rainy,cold, sleeting day! Yuck! I think a good cup of coffee and a day in front of my sewing machine is just what I need.

I am closed today.. it is beautiful outside and I just needed 1 more day with my kids.. even though they are out fishing with Dad.

Happy Easter! (a little late)

We had a great Easter. We spent the day with my family! The weather was beuatiful, it was just a nice and relaxing kind of day!

I was feeling a but under the weather, something that started Saturday afternoon.. a soar throat and body aches. I am feeling better today. I plan on cleaning up my sewing room to get a few things done. It is a pretty gray day today and my batteries are giving me a run for my money sooo I am hoping to have new skirts listed by the end of the week.

I am working on updating my etsy shop a bit so stay tuned for the changes. I have two new purses I am heading over to list!

My kids are on spring break so I am taking a little break as well. I am closing Wed. & will be back on Thur., Fri. & Sat. with regular hours!

again!! I have sooo many new things to show you! I really need to remember my camera tomorrow. I am also planning on taking some pics of new skirts. I am thinking an update on Monday in the etsy shop. I have a new way to market hair accessories too.

I have sooo many cute things in at the shop. Most under $10.00. Come in and get those last minute easter gifts. I will even wrap them for you! I have cute polk a dot bunny bags and lots of pretty ribbons! Need a card.. got that too! :)
