I'm done painting....

at the shop! Yay! Now just off to make lots of stuff to fill it up! :) I will post some new pics next week as the shop gets set up and things progress.

Our new *old* very old typewriter!

Look at this fun antique typewriter we got. I was at my friend Tammy's house on Friday night hand picking furniture for the shop & she had this old typewriter in her dining room. Tammy runs back porch gatherings and finds cute vintage, shabby chic flea market type fun fun stuff... mostly furniture. I will be selling her amazing finds at my new shop and the cool thing is they will double as display furniture! Her house is like a magazine. I was seriously in heaven! Well back to the typewriter.. Jada saw the typewriter and asked about it. I really didn't think too much of it until we got home and realized it is just like her American girl doll Kit's Typewriter (no wonder she wanted it) so I called up Tammy and being the awesome person she is, it was waiting at my backdoor when I got home this afternoon. It needs a good cleaning and doesn't work to great, but the kids are having a BLAST playing with it! :)

New pics of the shop coming soon! I was sooo busy cleaning up and putting shelves together I ran out of time to take pics! I hear I have created a buzz and people are really excited that I have decided to re-open! Plus the shop looks ADORABLE just the way I have been imagining it!

Here are some new pics I took today! I am almost done painting! I just have two small windows and some touch ups. It is starting to look awesome.. look at my new light in the window. It looks awesome lit up at night! :)

Happy Valentine's day! Things are moving along quite quickly at the shop so I promise to be a little more myself in the next few weeks! I am soooo happy with the way things are looking! The shop.....

This is what has been consuming me and my time lately! I finally got into the shop this weekend! I am really excited! I started painting (not shown in the pics.. pics were taken pre-painting) and it already is looking sooo awesome! I ordered the coolest light for the window & some sweet book cases. I have sooo much to do.. finish painting, new carpet and assemble furniture, not to mention get together all the paperwork for consighners ect.
I can't wait until it is all ready to open.. I have grand plans and I think you will all love the results! :)

but I GOT THE KEYS to my new shop! Yeah!!! I am sooo excited! :)

I am dying.....

Slips of course! (LOL!) for the new shop. I have always liked slips, but not the colors and as I get older I have been feeling the need to wear them under certain clothing items! I looove the one in the pic. It is hot pink! Yay for hot pink! I also did some in tangerine and a pretty green!

I am sooo trying to stay busy until I can get into the new shop.. the suspense and waiting is driving me a little crazy! I am waiting on a call from my Landlord and hopefully will be able to get in there next week.

I also did a little more thrifting today (for the shop!)! I looove the wood grain book ends! Soo neat.. I have sooo much more, but I can't show you everything! :)

Vintage finds... and a few new purses!

I had a pretty rough start to my week and was not feeling to great. I am feeling much better today *Thank goodness!* I just posted two new purses in my etsy shop. They both would make such great gifts for valentine's day! The best part is I am offering FREE SHIPPING for the entire month of February on all skirts and purses!
I also thought I would play catch up with the blog here and post some of my vintage finds... from Monday! These are all for the new store! :)

Cute Valentine's .....

I have been having kind of a crummy day today! The day just started off weird and didn't get much better. I did get a little thrifting done and it was one of my best days thrifting in awhile and cheapest none the less! I have some amazing things I will share.. mostly for the new shop! Yea!
