dainty daisies is mad for plaid....

I have sooo many new things I am working on! I can't wait to show you! I have a little one home sick today! :( He just wasn't feeling himself.. so I thought it best to keep him home! There is so much stuff going around! Uuggh!

... shop news... I have been working on a lot of new things.. I made some new plaid button rings and cuff braclets made of the mens shirt sleeves that I cut off to make the shirt skirts & a new version of the fold over clutch! I have a few more new things in the works. I will share later!

I have lots of sewing to do!

A beautiful custom hair clip & a very special Happy Birthday.....

I had to show off this sweet hair clip I put together. Wed. afternoon a young college girl came in looking for a specific hair piece for a homecoming. She was in love with the headbands but wanted a clip with feathers.. well a little collaboration and voila a custom hair clip! I think I will make a few more for the shop! I hope she sends me pics. of her wearing it! It looked adorable in her hair!!!


and a very special HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

10 years ago today after a many hours of labor and an emergency c-section at 3:47am on a rainy Saturday (which just so happend to be sweetest day) a beautiful baby girl was born. I have been blessed ever since.. she is the most amazing daughter, beautiful, smart, talented, polite and funny! I am one lucky Mama!!! Happy 10th Birthday Jada Rayne!!!

Lots of new to me's.........

....like the vintage metal stove(I scored for $10.00), vintage christmas decorations that I can't wait to put up (and they work... they light up!), a new cupboard/amoire .. an AMAZING flea market find ( I have big plans to makeover it!), & a new hair cut!!!! The heat has been out at my shop & brrrr it is cold here already! Pray today it is working..I am taking my space heater just incase!

Holiday Craftacular time...

Well almost! Saturday,November 28th. You will find me at the Masonic center in Madison, Wi. selling my wares with over 60 other talented artists/crafters many who have become friends of mine! I am also very proud to say that dainty daisies is a proud sponsor this year! This is by far my favorite show to do & sooo much fun! Mark your calendars! It IS that time to start thinkin' about the holidays!

I ♥ handmade mittens!

I am sooo forever grateful when a talented crafter walks thru my shop doors! A really nice lady from Oshkosh came in on Saturday with these... the most adorable mittens ever! Handmade from felted wool sweaters! She has already sold 3 pairs! Yay! I am meeting with her this week in hopes to get more.
