Valentines n Snow ....

Well we had grand plans for valentines day ... but snow storm Hunter took care of most of the day! 7 in. of snow... and with the plowing ect. I barely made it to Max's school then to the shop for an hour and 1/2 when we decided to close early! (sorry and thank you to all who came out in the morning)
It looks really pretty this morning though... check out the view of the end of my driveway soon my lil' beetle won't be able to see over those mountains! Lol!

A bit of thrifting.....

On monday I had to drive into Appleton to drop our tax paper work to our accountant and I had the urge to go thrifting. Well I did and I am so glad I did it was on of my better thrifting adventures. A newly remodeled thrift store and I spent under $20.00 Yay! I got the coolest vintage fabrics and a sweet birdie candle holder, and the dishes as well as some easter eggs(not shown) n such for displays at the shop. Have a great Wed.!

Look what came to the shop with me today....

I have been working on dolls for awhile and brought in two test dolls over the holiday season! It is kind of neat for me to be making dolls because believe it or not that is how daintydaisies started... making primitive dolls. I have had a lot of fun creating these gals and so has my daughter,my first custom order, from hair like hers to eye color, dress and tights :)
I have on more on the way and then they are up for sale at the store $25.00 each and one of a kind! (no glue and hand sewn, each with a fleece scarf)

BRRRRRR.....

All I can say is BBRRRRRRR !!! It is sooo cold here! -8 degrees and that is not with the windchill factor!

On a warmer note.. I have been looking for something to do with these cute containers that I have left over from my coffee(hmmhmm I go thru alot of them and it seems so wasteful!)..and I came up with these! I looove them! Each tin comes with a cute set of 6 magnets as well as a lid (that is on the bottom),they would make a great gift. They will be at the store tomorrow!
