We're going camping!

We are heading west on Saturday to visit my husbands Grandmother.. she is the sweetest lady I know & she loves to rummage sale! ;) She has a cute trailor on the lake in Chetek and the weather is supposed to be BEAUTIFUL! We are going as a family... and that makes me happy and excited! It has been a rough couple of months!

Sooo with that I had to share this little vintage camping set I found at a local antique store! ;)



and new vintage rattle necklaces by Whimsy House (I have been wanting to share them.. LoVe LOVE loVe them!!!!!)

Recital time & sooo many new skirts.......

I have been busy busy restocking the shop.. it is defintly skirt season again! Wrap skirts are selling faster then I can make them! I am working to build up my inventory for the Appleton Farmer's market which starts in just a few weeks! June 19the to be exact! Where exactly did May go??? Lol!





I also attended my daughters dance recital this past weekend! It is quite a show & I am so very proud of her. She has been dancing for 5 years with Richard's School of the Dance!






It has been crazy hot here this week! Uugh.. not a fan of hot weather! Although it is great skirt wearing weather! :)

daisy headbands!

New daisy headbands.. a last minute trip to the fabric store the other day was inspiration for these lovelys. I bought child size headbands in cute neon colors thinking they would be great for kids.. but they actually fit some adults too! ;) They are limited edition and will only be around for a while...



We have them in all colors.. look at this cutie! Her Mom let me use for a model! ;)



annnd how cute on my friend & her daughter. They would be a perfect to wear to that summer picnic or barbeque.

This is what is on my mind... I set a date with a local restaurant to host my first ever craft show! I am excited, nervous and just plain CRAZY!!! ;) I have soo much to do.... YIKES!

Thrifting Thursday...

I have decided I really need to go thrifting a bit more.. haha! ;) I did find some great things today though.. some great vintage fabrics to be made into Camp skirts.. a HUGE bag of lincoln logs for my son... a vintage thermos...and the coolest vintage jumper..a sweet display dish that now houses rings by Whimsy house..



& this sweet vintage apron....



& these adorable mugs that are now available at the shop.. I can't keep everything! ;)



By the way I just stocked up on more yo yo tanks & headbands(they are selling fast.. so hurry in!)

Thank you to everyone who came out Saturday for Destination Downtown! It was a huge success and a really fun day!!! I hope everyone had a lovely Mother's day weekend.. wether you're a Mom or spent time with your Mom!
I had a great weekend.. some time spent with old friends around a bonfire & then a nice dinner at my sister's house with My family! I got a cute Liberty of London umbrella, a handmade photo holder by Max, as well as cute handmade cards(so fun!) I also got a few early birthday presents. :)




I also have to Thank my models Jane & Sophie for doing such a fantastic job helping me on Saturday! Don't they look adorable in dainty daisies & Fancy Clothing duds! ;)

Mother's day gift ideas...

We have a busy weekend planned here at dainty daisies.. Destination Downtown is this Saturday all day starting with a brunch, fashion show. shopping w/ exlusive coupons & then wine tasting annnd a drawing for great prizes. What agreat way to spend a Saturday! ;)

Mother's day is Sunday May 9th as well.. The shop has extended hours for Saturday 10-4 so there is plenty of time to get Mom that great handmade unique gift! Don't have a lot to spend that is ok too.. we have so many items under $10.00 that Mom would just love!!! Here are a few ideas..

Max's Birthday!

I was sooo busy with moving that I forgot to mention that my little boy turned 7 on Friday! We had a crazy busy weekend but still found lots of time to celebrate. We went to his favorite restaurant on Friday & then had a fun party at the YMCA on Sunday! Here are a few pics from his party!

Moved...

I have had the craziest week.. I moved, had a awesome gallery walk & celebrated my son's 7th birthday! I am really REALLY happy with my life & thank you to all of my friends & family for your support during this crazy time!
