It's Octoberfest today!!

Come on downtown & celebrate with us!

We will be open 9-? most likely 6:00ish.

Eeek I am busy busy getting ready for Octoberfest! I have been sewing like a maniac!!

I also just found out that Michelle Obama is at Lawrence University

today which is 2 blocks from my store!

 

Shop hours are 10-6 today & 10-?? tomorrow..

most likely 6ish!

It's a beautiful day to check out downtown Appleton!

Fall in LOVE with handmade urban craft fair!

I am soooo excited to announce..

 

Fall in LOVE with handmade urban craft fair in addition to

Handmade for the Holidays which is going into it's 3rd year!

 We have had so much success.. I am so thankful!

 

I have found one of my passions is to share my love for handmade

& it's an amazing feeling to open up vending

opportunities to my fellow crafters!

 

So here it is.....

 

 

 

The show will feature over 40 vendors, live music & we will

have a "kissing" photo booth with photo's

by my good friend Laurie of Laurie Marie Photography!

 

We also will have a valentine card making station

by donation & all proceeds will go to the

Oshkosh area Humane society!

 

Here is how to apply..

please email 3-4 photos of current work, name of business

& a brief description of your work with price points to: handmadefortheholidays@hotmail.com !

The booths are 8x5 & are $65 .. with a $10 application fee.

(if you are a accepted vendor the remaining

 $55 will be do at the time of acceptance)

I will accept applications until October 31st & notify all accepted vendors asap!

I don't wear my glasses as often as I should!

I love them.. but they just don't go with everything!

I think I really need some other frames so I

can change them up! Any suggestions for some

cute frames?

We love recycled goods! ♥

 

Recycled mix it up sweaters, scarves, arm warmers

My friend Jenny sent the biggest box

of handmade goodness yesterday!

We have a select amount

of the recycled mix it up sweaters, each

sweater is one of a kind!

Arm warmers are perfect for this time of year.. when there

is a chill in the air but it's not quite cold enough for gloves

or mittens!

 

 

I love her scarfs.. they are so fun & whimsical!

 She also sent more Frances skirts in beautiful Fall colors!

They are all made from vintage polyester!

people expected I would hurry in if you see something you like.

I started my day today meeting 3

of my best friends for coffee, besides the major

coffee buzz..(Haha) I picked up

more boot cuffs from my talented

friend Courtney of Tizzy Dee!

YOU have to get a pair! They are AMAZING!

 

We have them in alot of new colors! I took a pic. of me wearing

mine today! Do you know how hard it was to take this pic?! ;)

I seriously love these & need them

in every color!

 



I was busy yesterday sewing up a storm! I made a couple of

corduroy wrap skirts! They are perfect for Fall!

 



I also made a few Rosie headbands in Corduroy &

cute Fall prints!

I had an AMAZING opportunity Sunday

to see The Lumineers live in Milwaukee!

I can't say enough! They were so

intense! I have been playing

the cd non stop in my car as well as

the vinyl at home!

is re-opening Glitter Workshop in a few weeks

& I am one of the featured artists!

 

I am also going to see The Lumineers Sunday

in Milwaukee! I am beyond excited!!
