To everyone who came out for the Holiday Craftacular! It was fantastic! I had so much fun, met a few new people and just pretty much kept busy all day!
I sold soooo many headbands.. my friend told me "they were the Tickle me Elmo of the Craft World" Hehe! Seriously.. I even sold the one I was wearing on my head! ;)
I have a few errands to run and have to get down to the shop to put it all back together and clean.. I left it in a mess!
(here is a pic of my display. The aisles were narrow and it was hard to get a great pic.!)
Have a great day! xo!

is this Saturday! yikes!!! I have so much to do.. so with that being said I will be slightly absent from my blog this week! The shop will be closed Saturday November 28... but you can come and see me at the Madison Masonic center downtown Madison 10-5 (corner of Wisconsin & E. Johnson st.) I am so excited.. it is my favorite show of the year!
The shop will also be closed Thanksgiving day & we will open a little early on "black Friday" 9-4. I dispise "black Friday" and all that it stands for.. but I do have a retail store so I am giving in a little.. the best part is my prices are great ALL year round, but maybe I will have a little treat for those who choose to stop & shop downtown! ;)
I wish you all the happiest of Thanksgivings.. Mine will be spent back home w/ my family! I have so much to be thankful for!
Have a great week! xoxo!

This has been on my to do list for almost 4 years now... Our house was not decorated or painted in the best colors when we bought it! This cute little house has sooo much potential and REALLY I do LOVE it!
My husband has been working out of town ALOT and I thought I would surprise him by painting the kitchen/ dining room and redecorating! I loooove it sooo much! Do you recognize the paint color??? (It was paint leftover from my shop in Oregon st.)
This all started do to those crazy ADORABLE retro chairs I found at a local thrift store.. you see I am very partial to granny furniture! ;) So here is a little peak of my dining room.. it is pretty small and challenging to photograph.
Have a great day! xo!

Today is my Grandmom's 97th birthday! She is an amazing woman.. and growing up with her living under the same roof most of my life.. I hate to say this but I know I didn't appreciate her enough! She has experienced an amazing life growing up in Philly and then New Jersey and eventually heading west to Wisconsin with my Grandpop. I have always enjoyed her stories and am so thankful for them. She also is an amazing seamstress and I think I inhereted her genes... hehe! I always had beautiful handmade dresses, doll clothes, my barbies even had handmade faux fur jackets & not too metion our halloween costumes always won! ;)
Happy birthday grandmom! I really do love and appreciate you and I am so glad we had Sunday together with our family! xo!
(The pic. on the cake is of her at age 20 in Ocean city N.J.) My uncle had it made... the coolest cake ever!

This Monday is totally trying to defeat me.. I am feeling a bit of crankiness! :( I had a dermatologist appt. this morning! (Won't give ya the details but 6 months ago I had a suspicious mole removed and I had to go back to get 4 more removed, 2 for cosmetic reasons! What a way to start your week off huh??
Then I get home and get all my bills on 1 day.. and it is MONDAY! my C.C. company really sucks and YES it is a bailout bank.. so I am being SCREWED to say the least. I am glad they got billions to only screw over us consumers! Thanks Obama!
Lastly the days is half over and I have been running around.. so the kids and I are going to go see "Where the Wild things are" I loved that book and I have been anticipating the movie.. I REALLY hope it is good!
Oh and we are refinancing our house so once all that is said and done I can pay off that stupid c.c. and be done w/ that bank, but as of now I have to leave it all alone and pay my ridiculous fees!
I hope your monday is a little better than mine.. I am not letting it defeat me though!
p.s. on a much happier note ..I had a headband photo shoot with my friend Carla! Fancy headbands will be back in my etsy shop soon! xo!
Happy Monday! :)
