I ♥ bows!!!

I have been working most of the weekend getting ready for this Saturday's gallery walk & working on inventory for my new shop! Eeeek.. I get the keys tomorrow! I took a peek in the windows & it will need new paint & such to make it mine. I set an open date of Wed. June 15th. I am not sure on hours yet so be sure to check back!

Weekend busyness...

I had a busy day yesterday.. My son Max's football game & then I stopped to pick up some pretty flowers for my yard as well as a few new gnomes! Gnomes remind me of my Mom-mom in New Jersey & since she has passed a few years ago I have been wanting to add more to my garden.

& the little mushrooms are from Target. I have been back twice now after buying just a few to get more! I love them!!



I picked up this guy yesterday..



I bought lots of pretty flowers for our flower beds in the front of the house.. & a few for my garden as well as the new shop!



I decided to make a few of my yoyo headbands yesterday while watching Army Wives. I am bringing them back for the summer.. they are so cute & I love the mix of fabrics(plus they help me use up my scrap fabric)!

studio/shop inspiration!

I am sooo excited to get into my new shop/studio! I can't wait!! I get the keys June 1st.

I have been thinking about what I want to do with the new space. I want it to be different then the old shop but yet very much me!

I also mentioned that I will be hosting craft nights/days. I am super SUPER excited about that! Stay tuned.. I am working on a shedule & I have lots of fun ideas!

Here is a little inspiration I found on etsy for my new shop/studio...

I have been collecting lots of vintage owls with plans to paint them in bright pretty colors like this one! I have had them at the old shop a few times! They are fun & a great way to give new life to something old!



I plan on ordering some tissue poms to hang from the ceiling..



I think I will order some of the big poms in hot pink, light pink & grey which will be my shop colors. I am painting the walls a light lavender with chalkboard accents...



...because in the shop there is this big chalkboard painted on the wall from when Sara Dae was there & I think I am going to keep it. It will be perfect for craft night.

I think this saying on this cute chalkboard poster is so true!

Pretty pretty vintage for Summer!

I have been collecting soooo many pretty dresses & skirts as well as a few vintage tops for my vintage shop daisy LOVE vintage! I have been finding LOTS of great pieces & will be adding them to my etsy shop slowly. My vintage collection will also have a big presence at my new shop/studio! I can't wait to get the keys.. I know I keep sayin' that but it is right around the corner! Yay! :)

Fashion show pics..

Last week was such a super crazy busy week! I had my trunk show, then a field trip with my daughter & then Destination Downtown!

I set up before the show.. here is a few pics of my space.



Thank you to everyone who purchased goodies from me & stopped to hear what dainty daisies is all about! I also saw many familiar faces which is always nice.



Look how adorable my lovely models were! Thank you to Jenny & Kristin for sticking around.. things were a little off schedule.. but they did GREAT & looked super cute in dainty daisies handmade wares as well as some of my vintage!



I then set up at Art City signs for the afternoon!



Josh & I ended up moving things around & set up in their entry way which looked AMAZING with their shop colors!



I have been busy collecting vintage goodies for the new shop & getting ready to sew up some more skirts & baby doll dresses. I get my keys next wednesday! Eeek! I can't wait to get painting & make it my own!

I also will be the featured gallery walk artist for Klassy Kids (on Main st.)
June 4th, 6-9pm! Save the date!! I hope to see you there!

ARE YOU READY??????

dainty daisies is coming back.... downtown that is! Yes you heard it here!! I rented 219 Market st. just a short block from my old shop! I have rebranded dainty daisies & I have been sooo inspired..with an entire new accessories line as well as clothing & a few old favorites!

I have been waiting for my trunk show (which was last night) to announce it! I am super SUPER excited! I have come to terms with the fact that my lil' business has grown soooo much in the last 10 yrs. It just isn't possible to work out of my house 100%! With that being said the new space is small & will only hold my work. I will however feature artists for gallery walk & they will be able to keep their product there for the month they are featured. I also am sooo EXCITED about a new idea.. craft night! I am going to host craft nights maybe once a month.. stay tuned! You will be able to come in & craft with me!

Ok so when you say? I get my keys June 1st & then have to go in paint, set up & get it all ready! I am hoping to be open mid June with minimal summer hours as I do vend at the Appleton farmers market. I hope you are all as excited as I am!! I can't wait!!!

I had my trunk show last night & have to say.. I HAVE THE BEST CUSTOMERS IN THE WORLD!! Thank you to everyone who came out!
