New handmade goodies in the shop...

Sooo many new handmade goodies at the shop!

Summer is on the way & I have been busy trying to keep up my skirt making!

 I finally madeup a few new Rosie headbands..

they can tie in the front for a vintage look or in the back for a traditional look!

I made a similiar headband to this one.. that I donated to Lawrence University's

Relay for Life auction & I decided to one for the shop!

Market season is right around the corner & we couldn't be more excited!

My friend Vanessa of Baily Belle came up with a cute recycled tote that is perfect for the Farmer's market.. they are a really nice size & fit over your shoulder.

They are made out of recycled pillow cases & can be thrown in the wash just remove the pin!

 We just got in some new vintage button necklaces!

Handmade right here in Appleton!

& I made a few vintage daisy hair pins sets! We have matching rings too!

I just put out lots of summer vintage dresses.. new wrap skirts

& quite a few vintage short sleeve mens shirts!

DIY: Vintage sheet projects!

I love vintage sheets! The patterns are always so pretty & fun! Here are a few projects

that I have been "pinning"! These are all on my "to make" list!

I thought it would be fun to share. I love the DIY tile coasters!

I LOVE the idea of re-usable grocery bags.. but don't love the look of most of them!

My Birthday!

I celebrated my 37th birthday yesterday.. 37! Wow!! Where did the time go?

It was such a beautiful day.. I took the day, ran errands bought a new couch & hung out with a friend! :)

I received my new yellow Saltwater sandals Saturday in the mail..

I have been wearing them ever since!

I also have a new handmade dress on the way.. but it is being custom made, I will share pics when I get it! I can't wait.. it's sooo cute!

I bought this sweet vintage granny couch yesterday. It's the perfect size for my apartment.

& has a bed in it! It also weighs 1000 pound! haha!

            My friend & neighbor Mindy left this on my door step.. handmade fabric flowers &

yummy cookies! It was a nice surprise & in a Sundrop bottle!

(If you know me well enough.. you know I like my sundrop!)

 Max my son left this adorable note on the counter for me as well as a toaster strudel

& a choc. chip cookie for me for breakfast (he made it for himself ,

 but then remembered it was my birthday. Haha)

 

I also enjoyed a work free day.. & stayed off of the internet most of the day.. except to instagram a few photo's!

We ended the day with baseball practice as well as A&W for dinner!

It was a pretty good day for a birthday! :)

I am soo happy with the quality of the tee.. I have been testing them out, they are super comfy & soft!

This is another design we did for the knitters out there..

This shirt is such a pretty color.. instagram washed it out a bit. I have this design in a dusty blue v-neck & a mocha colored basic tee.

 Thank you to Progress label, Offbeat press & Hype visual for helping me bring my ideas to life! Mary did an AMAZING job designing the tee's & the print work is beautiful!

This week is Craft for a cure.. stop in anytime during business hours & create one of the many projects in our classroom. I will donate 50% of the proceeds to The American Cancer society.

Mother's day is this Sunday....

soooo many new things have been arriving at the shop! I think Mom would love a one of a kind handmade rosette necklace by Baily Belle $32.

I gift my Grandmother a vintage brooch every year.. she would always then put it on her sweater & wear it to church! :)

Mom's the bomb! Mother's day gift ideas...

Mother's day is THIS Sunday.. & with work from over 30 artists/crafters

at my shop.. there are lots of great gift ideas for Mom!

Sew Cute! The new tee's are in...

I am soooo excited! My new tee's for the shop are in!

I came up with a base idea.. approached Drew & Mary from Offbeat press/progress label, they worked their magic & made them come to life! I could not be happier!!

May 6th through May 12th downtown Appleton will be raising money for The American Cancer society! Many business will be donating a portion of their sales or selling specific merchandise to raise money. I have decided to host "Craft for a Cure" I will have the craft room open during regular business hours & 50% of the proceeds of all crafts made that week will go to The American Cancer society in support of Breast Cancer research!
