I *heart* Etsy!

I just re-opened my etsy shop! I am working on adding new headbands and hopefully later this week new skirts & purses! I have a busy Monday.. playing catch up from last week.. meaning lots of sewing, cleaning my house, & laundry! Maybe even a quick trip to the thrift store! :)

Appleton Farmer's market....

That is where you will find me tomorrow! :) I only have a few weeks left of my vending season and I am fully stocked for the market! I have made lots of new headbands (I sold out by 10:00 am last Saturday) and I also have purses & totes on sale to move out old styles and get ready for Fall items! Come and see me.. I am on Oneida st. (off of College Ave.) by Starbucks! The market runs from 8-12:30!

It is lookin' alot like Fall around here....

Sorry I have been MIA around this little blog.. the weekend kind of kicked my butt! I have been working all week to get caught up! (not complaining.. I am very thankful!) I rearranged the store the other day and added some fall accents! It looks so cute & cozy! Love it... now only if the weather would cooperate a bit! It is sooo hot out!

Here are a few pics I took! I also just got in some cute new locally made dish cloths as well as school of charms just restocked her jewelry.. lots of new steam punk rings! Love them!

Sept. Gallery walk is Saturday!

Saturday is this Sept. Gallery walk. The shop is open 6-9pm. I am featuring my friend & crafter Naomi of Glitter Workshop! She makes the most adorable story book coasters, scrap kittys and accessories! It is a must see! ;)
I also will be at the farmers market in Appleton Saturday from 8-12:30! Come and say Hi! It looks like it will be a beautiful day!

I read this sweet little blog Rock Star Diaries and it is truly adorable (& they drive a cute beetle)! Anyhow.. This was posted on her site as she is on a break & I really couldn't believe that is totally how I have been feeling lately! So with that.. I am really feel negative forces & I am fighting them in a big way, so to remain positive and happy here are 10 things I am LOVIN' right now! Copy Cats SUCK!!!

I was reading a blog I read of a seller that I have worked with. I sell her "LA LA LOVE YOU" posters in my shop! I am feeling the need to stress to you & not you non-copy catters but people who meet me at the market or at a craft show or simply come into my store! IT IS NOT OK to copy my work.. yes get inspirations to come up with your own brilliant idea but not COPY! I sometimes don't sleep at night dreaming up new things to work on and create.. and yes in a designers world things are copied... but I do keep my items even my one of a kind wrap skirts very affordable!(I guarantee you, you would be saving NO money by trying to copy me!)This really just sinks my heart.. especially when I hear people ALL THE TIME say I can make that or you should totally make that for me! This is my LIFE my JOB and my DREAM and how I help contribute to my familys welfare! So if you still feel the need to copy me or someone elses work read this and see it is just not me that feels this way!

On a happy note.. I am on my way to the shop with lots of new stuff including three new corduroy wrap skirts.. some headbands and some sweet vintage finds! Fall hours kick in next week so I will let you know as soon as I post them! Also Gallery walk is this Saturday 6-9 pm! Stay tuned!
