Happy New year everyone!

2013 was a crazy year for dainty daisies, so

many changes!  I am so thankful for

all of your support! I am excited to

see what 2014 brings!

 

We are staying in with

all of our kids tonight &

celebrating at home!

 

I found a cute DIY on pinterest

to decorate our apartment a bit

for our New Years eve bash!

I did make a few adjustments to our

décor! I will have to take a after pic. when it's

all set up! We are making lots of

finger foods & putting my vintage fondue

pots to use tonight!

Christmas is only 13 days away!

I just picked up a bunch of supplies to

make gifts for our kids Grandparents!

 

Here are a few things I found on Pinterest

that gave me a few ideas...

 

I didn't pick up any bells or pipe cleaner but I

am definitely running back to the craft store today!

We picked up plenty of jars, trees &

fake snow to make snow globes.

We're going to the chapel & we're gonna get married...

I have been dying to share these photo's!

I have not talked a lot about my personal life

on my blog lately, mostly because the last

10 months have been a whirlwind!

 

I met the love of my life this past

January.. online after a few months of almost giving

up trying to meet someone that way!

We started emailing each other morning

& night. We then met & knew it was

love at first sight! We have not been apart since!

I moved to be with him

near Milwaukee.. & we are

the happiest we both have been

ever! He is my soul mate!

 

So... he surprised me at my show Handmade for

the holidays with a booth full of customers! He grabbed one

of my very best friends who was photographing the event, she had know idea why.

He got down on one knee & asked me to marry him!

 

 

I was so surprised! We had talked about getting married..

but I had no idea!

It all happened so fast! I remember him

shaking & I couldn't stop hugging him!
 



We both have been married before so

this time will be small & intimate with

our closest family & friends!

He gave me a white gold emerald ring (my birthstone)

which is so me & I absolutely love it!!

 



 

I seriously could not stop hugging him!!!

I am the luckiest girl in the world!

Tis the season for fun craft fairs &

buying handmade for the holidays!

Here are a few of the shows that I will be selling my

handmade wares!

I have a new display so I am so excited for

my upcoming shows to bring it to life!

 

First up.... the Crafty fair! I will be in Madison

at the Goodman center this Sunday from 10-4!

 

Of course Handmade for the Holidays..

which is the show that I host, organize &

will be vending at! We have a great group of artists this year!

My friend Becca from Tiny Triangles will be selling

her wares at the Holiday Craftacular in Madison along with my wares

(we are sharing a booth) & she will also have things at my booth
