Merry Christmas & Thank you Oshkosh!!!

Today is the very last day my shop will be open & quite honestly it is pretty quiet downtown. I am closing up at noon .. heading home to bake cookies with my kiddos & make a few last minute gifts!

I just want to say Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of my Oshkosh customers & customers from all over that have traveled to see me! I am excited for the big move.. & honestly you all made it possible by continuing to support my small business! I appreciate every single person who has walked thru my door the last 4 years! Oshkosh you have been pretty darn good to me.. a girl from a small town in Wisconsin with no local connections starting from scratch, living out my dream! ;)



I also had to plug my friend Courtney of Tizzy Dee... who is pretty amazing herself! She dropped off a few new headbands yesterday & I had to keep this one after trying it on! ;) She will have lots of new goodies at the new shop!



Here is what is waiting for me in Appleton. I start moving next week.. there is lots of painting to be done.. a sign to go up & lots of new inventory! I will be blogging regulary to share the experience of course! The opening date is scheduled for
Jan. 16th. but is not set in stone yet so stay tuned!

Tis' the season to sparkle!

This is the last week my shop will be open in Oshkosh! I have been working like crazy on new inventory for my new shop as well as the planning & designing of the new space. I just approved my sign for the new shop & OMG I can NOT wait to show you guys! It is HUGE!! We are putting a big sign in galvanized metal on the building & then vinyl on the windows! It looks so good!

I am opening the shop up tomorrow (Wednesday) because it is the last week to shop at my Oshkosh store & Christmas is 4 days away! YIKES!

Keep in mind New Years is right around the corner & I think Christmas as well as New years is the perfect reason to sparkle!

My glitter star headbands & hair pins would be perfect for the holidays!

Shop hours this week are Wed. 11-5, Thur. 11-5, Fri. 11-6 & Sat. 10-3 (Our last day open is Christmas eve. I am hoping to open the new downtown Appleton shop Jan. 16th but that will be determined! ;) Stay tuned!!

My Christmas wishlist....

I thought it would be fun to share a few of the things on my Christmas wish list!

I love the infinity scarves by BailyBelle like this one with snaps! (ok confession I own this one.. but I would love another!!) I also sell some of Vanessa's scarves at my shop if you would like to pick one up as a gift!



I don't know what it is about this skirt from Urban Outfitters but I have been drooling over it for awhile now! ;)



& I think Santa may have gotten this sweet lil' bird ornament for me from one of my favorite artists Skunkboy Creatures! I own many of Katie's creatures & they are just adorable!



I have been collecting mushroom ornaments for a few years now to hopefully have my tree look like this one someday, I could always use a few more!



I own this cd & I love the kitschy vintage vibe! I really want it on vinyl so I can listen to it on my Grandpop's vintage record player (which I inherited last year!)




I am open at my shop today from 11-6 & 10-2 tomorrow! There are only 5 business/shopping days left at the Oshkosh store! I have lots of great handmade affordable gifts! We have gift certificates as well in any dollar amount!

New shop inspiration... via pinterest!

I have been sooo busy planning out my move in the next few weeks! I really want the new shop to be PERFECT! :)

Here are a few things I have found for my new shop inspiration via Pinterest! I am soooo excited.. the anticipation is killing me!!!

I am working with Art City signs on wrapping the back of some old book shelves that I have with a vintage inspired wallpaper print to look something like this..



I am hoping to have some fun banners like this throughout the shop. My interior colors of the shop will be pale pink on the walls, mustard & olive accents!



I bought a lamp like this somewhat that I want to add to the class room! The one I bought was for Christmas so it twinkles! I love it!!



This picture I am using for wall color inspiration.. the pale pink which I pulled from my sign will be the overall wall color with mustard & olive accents! The new shop will have lots of vintage kitsch & I think this color combo is perfect!



My husband has said he would help me add scalloped edges to a few of the vintage shelves I have bought to give them a new look! I looove this look!



Only 6 days left at my Oshkosh shop then I have to move out! Here are the shop hours..

Thursday & Friday 11-6, Saturday 10-2
Christmas eve 10-3.

I have lots of new fabric to wash for new wrap skirts & lots of new vintage to organize... inlcuding MENS!! I will have a mens section at the new shop! Hurray!

Wrapping up the holidays at Glitter today!!!

I will be at The Glitter Workshop today in Madison with several other talented ladies. We will have free gift wrapping, door prizes, crafts & cookies not too mention lots of handmade gifts available for everyone on your list!

Happy Friday!!!

Happy Friday everyone! Today is the last day for the 2 for $30 Fancy headband sale! The shop is open 11-6 today & 10-2 Saturday.

I also am running a few little sales.. all glass ornaments are 2 for $8. now until Christmas even & my new snowflake wax melts are 2 for $8 (reg. $5. each) They make great gifts! My personal favorite is the gingerbread! I have been melting that one each night in my little warmer & it makes my house smell sooooo yummy!



There are two of the same scent in each package.



My son Max had his Holiday concert & the kiddos were all dressed up so I took some pics of them for our Christmas cards! I looooove this one with Dexter! ;) He is getting sooo stocky!




p.s. I have decided I really REALLY need some time to work on (sewing) inventory for my new shop so I will have limited hours now until Our last day open in Oshkosh on Christmas eve!
Starting next week the shop will be open Thur. 11-6, Fri. 11-6 & Sat. 10-2
