I just got these sweet paper dolls in for the shop from the ever so talented Emily of The black apple. I have been a fan of her work for a while now and have several of her prints in my home! I am so thrilled to be carrying her work in my shop! Thanks Emily! Here is a link to her blog.

One crafty weekend a success!

Jada & I had a little crafty weekend planned. It was a huge success. The girls decorated American girl doll size tee's, pumkins & pictures. The martha stewart line stamps, stickers ect. I bought were a huge hit. We also made cookies thanks to my friend Kristin who also brought over a nice little Halloween style chex mix. We had a blast.
Jake & Jada went to the Brewers game Sunday..which by the way they won and now are in the play offs! Yay! So Max and I had our own crafty day which was spent running to the craft store.. they just opened a Michaels in Appleton and I LOOOOVE IT!!! then we went out to lunch.. and a quick stop by U BAKE for some pumpkin cookies for him to decorate! We ended the day with a little game of kick ball! :) Man am I out of shape!
After such a great weekend my Monday is off to a rough start! Our dog Buster had a seizure (he has always had them, but far & few now they are getting worse!)
I also got the kids to school just as the bell rang & Jake is working in Madison for the next 3 weeks! I am feeling a little frustrated!
On a better note~ I have lots to tell you about our month long celebration.. our shop turns 1 on wed.!

Organic make-up......

I have been having skin issues ever since my son was born... I am told hormones gone wild! ugggh! I was told by a Dr. once the best thing is less is more & the more natural the better. Lucky for me I have a soap making aromatherapy knowledged friend/bus. partner & just using natural Sweet Usoapia brands have helped sooo much. The thing I struggle with most is make-up. I wear very little because I have allergies (The hayfever type) and rub my eyes ect.. so No eye make-up or lipstick ect. I was using some sort of Mineral make-up and was not loving it...but I need something cause my skin gets really red.. long story short I ran out (and remembered at about 11:00 pm) and forgot to get more. A late night run to Walgreens ended up with a fabulous purchase of a organic wear bronzer (just a tad of color) & powder in earth friendly packaging! It was also affordable! So far I love it & just found the website to pass a long! Here ya go... Check it out!

I sew.. I sure do.. and hmhm, I should be doing that right now! Lol! Check out this cute pin I just bought on Etsy! This cute shop MYMY.ETSY.COM has the funniest pins! Like I love my big A**! I don't have a big A** BUT IF I did I would buy that one! Lol!

I am off to sew booties.. they sold out at the market & Misha says I have had a few women looking for them at the shop! I am off today so I better get something done!

I am hoping to post more.. but skirts are selling faster than I can make them! ;)

Thank you everyone for such a wonderful summer of vending at the Appleton Farmer's market! This past Saturday was my last Saturday until next summer! Thank you all so much for your support, it means the world to me! I will see you next summer or stop in the shop and say Hi! :)

I just added a few new clips to my etsy shop & retook some of the pics that were REALLY bad. I also have a few skirts left over from the weekend and will be posting those tomorrow afternoon! ( If I can get some good pics!)

A new banner & new pics of the shop!

I just ordered a new banner for my etsy shop & this here blog, and hopefully my website(I have so many problems getting them to work on my site)

I also took some updated pics of the shop! We are quickly approaching our 1 year anniversary at our new location.. which also reminded me that dainty daisies itself just had a birthday in Sept. My business is 4 years old! I can hardly believe it! Thanks to all of you who make it possible by purchasing my handmade wares! :)*Thank you!* I appreciate all of you more than you can possibly know!

I will be at the Appleton farmers market tomorrow for my last Saturday of vending! I will have all new skirts with me!
